The studio
Original visual thinking, applied to commercial production.
FOI Studios was founded by Sourish Mukherjee on 25 November 2017 as an independent creative studio built around original visual thinking.
Before FOI, Sourish worked in commercial and wedding photography. That experience showed how easily creative work can become controlled by existing references, trends and predetermined visual styles.
FOI Studios was created to explore another approach: start with the idea, develop the visual philosophy, then create the image.
Today FOI Studios works across photography, filmmaking, music, media, commercial production and technology. foiphoto.in represents the commercial production side of that ecosystem.
